Job Title: E&I Planner

Location: Ayrshire

Location; £43,500

Technique Recruitment are working on behalf of our client and are looking for an E&I Planner.

My client are the hydraulic and electrical experts. The priority is to optimise the integrity and efficiency of assets from concept to operation and beyond.

Role Summary

The E&I Planner is responsible for planning inspection and maintenance activities for a Hazardous Area Inspection contract held with a key client in Ayrshire. Working alongside the client and on-site inspection team, the role will also involve planning remedial works, in addition to arranging permits-to-work, work packs and access to equipment at height to facilitate the completion of planned work routines safely and on-schedule.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Planning of hazardous area E&I equipment inspections.
  • Managing and scheduling remedial works within the designated timeframes.
  • Assisting and complying with permit to work and isolation systems.
  • Preparation of work packs with the relevant technical information to enable technicians to complete their inspection and remedial activities.
  • Co-ordination with operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of electrical and instrument equipment.
  • Providing written and oral documentation of job status.
  • Ensuring the client quality management system and design procedures are followed and standards are maintained.
  • Maintaining and promoting a professional and harmonious relationship with the customers representatives.
  • Completing client work orders and time sheets correctly and to the satisfaction of us and the client and the end user.

Education & Training

  • Proven track record in a similar role.
