A leading energy company in Slough is seeking a skilled Network Technician to maintain safety and efficiency of gas transportation assets. This hands-on role includes fault diagnosis, repairs, and inspections of instrumentation and electrical systems across various sites. The ideal candidate has proven E&I experience and relevant certifications. As a Network Technician in our Energy Operations team, you'll be at the heart of keeping our gas transportation assets running safely and efficiently. From inspecting and testing instrumentation systems to fault-finding and repairs, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems are in top condition across the network.
This is more than just maintenance - it's about protecting asset health, supporting operational excellence, and making sure our infrastructure meets the highest standards. You'll work across a variety of sites, contribute to emergency response, and help shape the future of how we manage and maintain our network.
If you have experience in maintenance, fault finding, and repairing instrumentation systems, along with a solid understanding of instrumentation/electrical drawings, technical documents, and maintenance procedures, we want to hear from you! Whether your background is domestic or commercial electrical, if you have electrical testing experience, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that offers technical challenge, autonomy, and the chance to work across a wide range of assets.
