The E-Commerce Trading Assistant will support the delivery of trading performance across the Huws Gray Group's digital platforms, with a primary focus on the Huws Gray brand. Working closely with the Trading Manager, the role will assist in executing daily trading activity, optimising product presentation, managing data accuracy, and supporting promotional and merchandising initiatives. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop a career in e-commerce and gain hands‑on experience within a fast‑growing digital environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Trading Manager in delivering daily, weekly and monthly trading priorities across all Group websites.
  • Review onsite categories, product listings and navigation to ensure optimal presentation and availability.
  • Assist with setting up and scheduling online promotions, campaigns and price updates.

  • Check homepage banners, landing pages and key journeys to ensure they are trading effectively and aligned to current campaigns.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a trading, merchandising or e-commerce role, ideally within retail, distribution or a B2B environment, with previous experience using Magento Adobe Commerce.

  • Company attendance and performance bonuses
  • Company pension scheme – in line with auto enrolment
  • Death In Service
  • Career progression and personal development opportunities
  • Being part of a "team" as opposed to just being a number
  • Staff discounts on items purchased from any of our nationwide branches
