Job summary

GAP is seeking a Hire & Sales Coordinator for our Pumps & Power Services division in Warrington. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling hire requests, coordinating logistics, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage hires, keep stock levels, liaise with drivers, and resolve queries to maximise sales. Ideal candidates have experience in a high-volume hire desk, excellent communication, and strong IT skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge and a drive to increase sales.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing hires daily across equipment.
• Process hire desk administration and handle customer and supplier queries quickly.
• Maintain stock levels and identify opportunities to boost sales.
• Coordinate with drivers and fitters for timely deliveries.
• Resolve customer and supplier issues professionally.
