Job Details Job description: Duty Manager – Hinksey Outdoor Pool FTC Mar – Oct, Full Time/Part Time Opportunities FT 40 hrs: Up to £31, per annum + Corporate Benefits Package PT 20 hrs: Up to £15, per annum + Corporate Benefits Package Serco Leisure is recruiting a Duty Manager to help run Hinksey Outdoor Pool during the busy outdoor swimming season. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing leadership role, ensuring the pool operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. You’ll lead operational teams, manage daily activity, respond to incidents and emergencies, and provide a visible management presence across the site. Safety, customer experience and teamwork are at the heart of this role.

Key responsibilities
  • Open and close the site and maintain security
  • Supervise and deploy lifeguards and operational staff
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and outdoor pool procedures
  • Respond to accidents, incidents and emergency situations
  • Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer feedback
  • Carry out site checks and maintain standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Support cash handling and basic financial procedures
  • Assist with staff training, rotas and absence management
