Job summary

SSP Deutschland GmbH is recruiting for a Duty Manager at York Station (Burger King). The role pays £13.61 per hour with full-time opportunities (30 hours per week) and flexible hours across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

Lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and manage opening/closing and daily operations in a busy hospitality environment. Prior leadership experience in hospitality/retail is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in hospitality or retail.
• Ability to open/close and run daily operations.
• Comfortable working with flexible shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations.
• Lead the team through busy shifts and maintain positive energy.
• Deliver great customer service and address queries promptly.
• Be the go-to person for customer and team inquiries.
• Monitor unit performance and champion improvements.

DUTY MANAGER - YORK STATION, BURGER KING - URGENTLY REQUIRED!

Pay Rate: £13.61 per hour

We have Full Time (30hrs) roles available.

Hours of operation are 9am and 12:30am Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

ABOUT YOU:

• Hospitality moves fast - and so do you! If you thrive on action, love leading people, and want to make an impact every day, our Supervisor role’s got your name on it.
• Due to some responsibilities within the Duty Manager role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.

ABOUT THE DUTY MANAGER ROLE:

• Take ownership of opening, closing, and daily operations while solving problems on the fly.
• Lead your team through busy shifts, keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive.
• Inspire your team to deliver great customer service, be the go-to person for customer and team queries.
• Results focussed, staying informed about unit performance and championing improvements.
• Previous experience leading a team in busy Hospitality or Retail is ideal.
