Nuffield Health is recruiting a Duty Manager for the Gosforth (Newcastle) Gym. The role combines club operations with proactive sales activity to deliver a premier fitness experience for members.

You will lead a high-quality team, ensure safety standards, and actively engage with members to foster satisfaction. A strong service mindset and the ability to train for Lifeguard duties are essential, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of the club, including opening/closing on shift.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and build strong member relationships.
• Lead by example and uphold quality standards across the team.
• Conduct tours for prospective members highlighting benefits.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and train on-site for Lifeguard duties.

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift

• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.

• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.

• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides

• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.

• Help achieve sales targets

• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
