Job summary

Nuffield Health is recruiting a Duty Manager for the Bromley Fitness and Wellbeing Club. This permanent, full-time role includes responsibility for the smooth running of the club, opening/closing on shift, driving member satisfaction, and leading a team.

You will bring proven sales experience, excellent communication, and a can-do attitude. You may cover Lifeguard breaks and will receive a benefits package including free gym membership, health assessments, retail discounts and a pension.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club; open/close during shifts.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and build strong member relationships.
• Lead by example and support colleagues to uphold quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members highlighting club benefits.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and train on-site for Lifeguard cover.

Bromley FWC | Fitness & Wellbeing Club | Permanent contract | Full time
Up to £28,620.93 per annum depending on experience plus sales commission
40 hours per week

As a Duty Manager at our gym, you’ll bring demonstrable sales experience and the ability to quickly get to grips with our business. You’re enthusiastic, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit. You have a ‘can do’ attitude and you share our passion for excellent customer service.

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift
• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Help achieve sales targets
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
