Job summary

Prezzo Italian is seeking a Duty Manager to bridge the floor and management, leading shifts with personality and energy. You’ll learn the business, support the GM, and inspire a team committed to delivering memorable hospitality.

You will handle opening/closing, cashing up, and compliance while acting as a visible role model on busy service. A pathway to Assistant Manager is highlighted in the role.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as a server or supervisor and readiness for more.
• Confidence to lead a team through busy service.
• Reliable, positive, and passionate about making people smile.
• Eager to learn the operational side of a successful restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the restaurant as a keyholder.
• Lead the team when the General Manager is away.
• Cashing up and ensuring compliance.
• Be a role model for the team during service.

The Role

You are the heartbeat of the shift. As a keyholder, you’ll open and close the restaurant, lead the team when the GM is away, and ensure every guest experiences our "Hospitality Magic." You’ll master the "behind-the-scenes" stuff—like cashing up and compliance—while staying front-and-centre as a role model for the team.
