Job summary

Nuffield Health is expanding its Fitness & Wellbeing Club in Bishops Stortford. The Duty Manager will help ensure the smooth running of the club, lead by example and deliver exceptional member service while supporting sales targets.

You’ll need proven sales experience, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach. A Lifeguard training requirement is noted, with coverage for Lifeguard breaks on site where needed.

• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the smooth running of the club, including opening and closing on shift.
• Prioritise member satisfaction and build strong relationships with members.
• Lead by example, support colleagues and uphold quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members highlighting club benefits.
• Oversee health and safety protocols and address issues swiftly.
• Help achieve sales targets.
• Be able to swim to a high standard and undergo on-site lifeguard training.

Up to £29,972.33 pro rata depending on experience plus sales commission
32 hours per week

As a Duty Manager, you will:

• Be responsible for the smooth running of our club; including the opening and closing the club when on shift
• Prioritize Member Satisfaction, Engage with our members, fostering happiness and building strong relationships.
• Lead by example, support and guide your colleagues while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Conduct tours for prospective members, highlighting the unique benefits that only Nuffield Health provides
• Oversee health and safety protocols, addressing any issues swiftly and effectively.
• Help achieve sales targets
• Be able to swim to a high standard and be willing to undergo training at site, due to covering Lifeguard breaks
