Location

Edinburgh (minimum 3 days per week in the office)

The role

Deliver high-quality due diligence and refresh reviews in line with internal policy and regulatory expectations. Trusted to apply sound judgement, spot risk, and ensure files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready.

What you’ll be doing
  • Managing periodic AML/KYC reviews end-to-end, ensuring CDD files are accurate and up to date
  • Gathering, validating and assessing documentation for individuals and entities
  • Completing screening checks using recognised tools and open‑source research
  • Reviewing activity against client profiles to identify anomalies and escalating where appropriate
  • Updating risk information and supporting ongoing client risk assessments
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve gaps quickly and professionally
  • Maintaining trackers/MI to support delivery against service levels — without compromising quality
What we’re looking for
  • 3+ years’ experience in AML/KYC / CDD / Client Due Diligence (financial services preferred)
  • Strong understanding of AML/CFT and KYC principles, with confidence applying policy in practice
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a “right first time” approach
  • Strong organisation skills; able to handle volume, deadlines and competing priorities
  • Clear communication style and confidence engaging stakeholders
  • Solid MS Office skills (training provided for internal systems)
  • ICA (AML) or similar qualification is desirable (not essential)
