We’re looking for a Design Technology Technician to join a forward-thinking secondary school. You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero making sure workshops run smoothly, resources are ready, and students can safely explore everything from woodwork to CAD.
Prepping and maintaining equipment, tools, and materials
Supporting teachers with practical lessons and demonstrations
Making sure health & safety standards are always met
Helping pupils get the most out of projects (and keeping things running when glue guns run wild)
Organising, ordering, and managing workshop stock
A background in DT, engineering, or workshop-based skills
Confident using a range of tools and machinery (training can be provided)
Organised, reliable, and a natural problem-solver
A team player who enjoys supporting teachers and inspiring students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
