DT Teacher Nuneaton ASAP

Salary: £150-£260 per day (paid weekly)

Hours: Full-time

Contract: Long term role

• Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils well‑being following statutory provisions
• Plan and deliver dynamic, practical lessons that challenge and inspire students
• Integrate CAD/CAM technology and modern manufacturing methods into learning
• Support students in developing design thinking, technical skills and resilience
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote STEM and design innovation across the school
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school’s behaviour policy
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, ensuring open, respectful and timely communication to celebrate success and address concerns
• Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence

Qualifications and Experience

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Read the DfE Keeping Children Safe in Education (2025 document)
• Has strong Design Technology subject knowledge in line with the National Curriculum

• Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service (Child/Child & Adult Workforce)
• Reference checks covering the last 2 years of employment or education
