Job summary

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company in Farnborough is recruiting for a Driver's Mate. You will support the driver and warehouse teams with loading and unloading stock, and help plan efficient routes to deliveries and returns, while building strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

The role emphasizes health and safety and requires flexibility to work any five days in a seven day period, with early start times from 5am. Full training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a driver’s mate, drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
• Knowledge of local region.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading stock with driver and warehouse teams.
• Identify efficient traffic routes to help reach locations quickly and safely.
• Build working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Maintain health and safety at the forefront of processes.

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 46 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, but flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times from 5am onwards.

About the role

If you are interested in joining our journey, we are now recruiting for a Driver's Mate. Reporting to the Transport Manager, this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock.
• Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.
