Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join a dray crew in Farnborough. You will drive up to 26-tonne lorries, deliver stock to customers and support loading with a Driver's Mate, in a role that requires flexibility across five days in a seven-day period.

The position is permanent, with a 46-hour week and competitive benefits including life assurance, pension, bonus scheme and holiday entitlement. Transport manager reports will be your line.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Class 2 Licence and CPC Driver Card.
• Knowledge of Highway Code and driving health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Manual handling experience or training (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
• Supporting Drivers Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building strong working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Using knowledge of the local region to deliver on time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Working Hours: 46 hours per week. Predominantly working on a Monday to Friday basis, however, flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period. Start times to vary to suit business needs.

Salary: £45,488 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role:

As a Class 2 Driver with Carlsberg Britvic, you will be working in a dray crew, alongside your partnered Driver's Mate as you visit different sites, interacting with different customers on route whilst delivering our amazing products!

Role Responsibilities:

• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Acurrent and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
