Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting a Class 2 Driver to join our Mansfield operation. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will drive up to 26 tonnes, deliver to customers, and support the warehouse team with loading and unloading.

The role requires a valid Class 2 Licence and CPC Driver Card, good knowledge of the Highway Code, and a customer‑focused approach. You’ll work mainly Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover a 5 out of 7 pattern, and enjoy extensive benefits and pension support.

• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Customer service
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Job description

Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: Mansfield, NG18 5BZ

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 48 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, flexibility needed to work any 5 days in a 7 day period.

Salary: £37,418 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary
