Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic is recruiting for a Class 2 Driver in West Thurrock. The role involves delivering stock to customers as part of a dray crew, working with a Driver's Mate, and visiting multiple sites while maintaining excellent service.

The position requires a current Class 2 licence, CPC card, good knowledge of the Highway Code, and a commitment to health and safety. Inductions include full training and regional driving routines.

Qualifications

• Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Driver's Card held.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Customer service.
• Manual handling training desirable; training provided during induction.

Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with customers and other departments.
• Using knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Location: West Thurrock, RM20 3LB

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: Average of 48 hours per week with start times to vary, no earlier than 4.30am.

Salary: £44,088 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role:

As a Class 2 Driver with Carlsberg Britvic, you will be working in a dray crew, alongside your partnered Driver's Mate as you visit different sites, interacting with different customers on route whilst delivering our amazing products!
