Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic in Tiverton is looking for two Class 2 Drivers to join our dray crews. You will be paired with a Driver's Mate, delivering our beverages to customers across the region and ensuring on-time, accurate stock delivery.

The role requires a valid Class 2 licence and CPC, good knowledge of the Highway Code, and a commitment to health and safety. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including a generous leave entitlement, pension, life assurance, a company bonus scheme and product

Responsibilities

• Drive lorries up to 26 tonnes to deliver stock to customers.
• Support Driver’s Mate and Warehouse teams with loading/unloading.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Use local region knowledge to optimise routes and ensure safety.

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 48 hours per week. Working predominantly on a Monday to Friday basis, flexibility needed to work any 5 days in a 7 day period.

Salary: £37,418 with OT paid at 1.5 x salary

About the role

As a Class 2 Driver with Carlsberg Britvic, you will be working in a dray crew, alongside your partnered Driver's Mate as you visit different sites, interacting with different customers on route whilst delivering our amazing products!

We are now recruiting for 2 x Class 2 Drivers. Reporting to the Transport Manager , this role will play a key part in our success journey, and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities

• Driving lorries up to 26 tonnes, delivering stock to our customers.
• Supporting the Driver’s Mates and Warehouse team in loading/unloading stock.
• Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments.
• Using your knowledge of the local region to safely deliver on-time.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes.

Experience and Key Attributes

• Accurate and valid Class 2 Drivers Licence and CPC Drivers Card.
• Up to date knowledge of the Highway Code and driving (health and safety) legislation.
• Knowledge of local region.
• Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction.
