We are currently looking for a Driver Labourer in the Derby area who is seeking their next long‑term contract. You will be working for a local social housing contractor. This is a self‑employed role, where a company van and fuel card is supplied.

This opportunity is with a respected and established building contractor in the area, known for its strong reputation in the housing sector and commitment to its workforce. You'll be part of a company that values high‑quality work and supports ongoing growth in a stable, full‑time environment.

I’d be keen to see applications from anyone with experience as a Skilled Labourer, General Operative or Handyman.

As the Driver Labourer, you will be:

• Carrying out general labouring duties
• Lifting materials
• Driving
• Assisting other trades in the refurbishment of domestic properties

The right Driver Labourer will:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Have previous labouring experience
• Be able to pass a DBS check (which you can do through us)

In return, the Driver Labourer receives:

• Company van and fuel card
• Long‑term work
• 40 hours per week
• Weekly pay (CIS or PAYE payments available)
• Immediate start

Location and travel

This role requires travel around the South Lincolnshire area including Derby, Grantham, Stamford and more.
