Driver / Furniture Installer - High-End Interiors
Location: Dagenham
Salary: £30,000 + Benefits | Mon-Fri | Overtime Available

Are you a skilled and reliable driver with a passion for quality workmanship? Our client, a leader in high-end furniture and interiors, is seeking a Driver / Furniture Installer to join their growing team. You'll be the face of the company when delivering and installing premium furniture into luxury spaces - so a professional, proactive approach and keen attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Warehouse Manager in planning daily delivery routes.
  • Deliver and install high-end furniture with precision and care.
  • Maintain accurate delivery notes and job documentation.
  • Use problem-solving skills during on-site installations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and head office on any issues.
  • Carry out daily/weekly vehicle checks, refuel, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Assist with additional tasks as reasonably directed by your line manager.
What We're Looking For
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) - Clean
  • 3+ years' experience in a relevant trade - desirable
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to manage your own workload
  • Basic understanding of risk assessments
  • Desirable (but training can be provided):
    • Forklift Truck licence
    • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
What’s In It for You?
  • Salary: £30,000 per year (Reviewed after successful completion of probation)
  • Hours: 07:30-17:00, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)
  • Overtime: 1.5x pay on Saturdays | 2x pay on Sundays
  • Holiday: 23 days + Bank Holidays (rising to 25 days after 5 years)
  • Pension Scheme: Eligible after 3 months
