Responsibilities

  • Correctly debriefing drivers.
  • Checking all timesheets for correct completion.
  • Scanning and storing PODs using the document management system.
  • Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes.
  • Printing all despatch notes and restocking despatch paper.
  • Answering the telephone and assisting with queries.
  • Communicating ETAs to Customer Services.
  • Updating spreadsheets including change-overs and run summaries.
  • Completing loads using the Transport Management System.
  • Ensuring correct dispatch of all loads.

Job Description

Our expanding nights transport team in Harworth have an exciting opportunity for a Driver Debriefer to join their team on a full time permanent basis!

As a Driver Debriefer you will be responsible for providing general administration support to the Transport Department.

Salary:£29,500 per annum, plus £2,000 night shift allowance.

Shift:4 on 4 off NIGHTS, 18:00 - 06:00

Key Duties of a Driver De-Briefer include:

  • Correctly debriefing drivers.
  • Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
  • Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
  • Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
  • Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
  • Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
  • Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
  • Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
  • Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
  • Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
  • Ensure all trailers are tracked.
Qualifications
  • Positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Able to work as part of a team or individually.
