Overview

Here at Bupa we support those when they need it the most. Richmond Villages are our retirement village provider. They deliver person‑centred care, supporting independence and honouring choice to help our residents live their best lives. You will receive thorough induction, ongoing training and development, and access to apprenticeships and our online portal.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and deliver items of equipment to and from the village using company vehicles
  • Carry out scheduled checks on company vehicles, ensuring documentation is in order, vehicles are cleaned and fueled
  • Report any vehicle defects and investigate and document findings
  • Complete journey logs after each use and monitor Tax and MOT expiry dates, informing the Administrator near due dates
  • Ensure vehicles are locked and alarms are activated when parking
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and experience in a customer‑focused environment
  • Polite, courteous, can‑do approach, flexible and adaptable
  • Responsible driver able to build trusting relationships with people
  • First aid trained; experience driving groups of people, using wheelchair restraint systems and vehicle tail‑lifts is advantageous
  • Will complete a DBS check (cost covered by Bupa)
