Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
  • Teach drama techniques including performance, improvisation, scripted work, and theatre studies
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Prepare pupils for examinations and performances where applicable
  • Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Expressive Arts department
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers and staff as required
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development
Qualifications
