Tis the season to join HICA - make people's lives more jolly by becoming a Domiciliary Home Care Worker! Join HICA and make a real difference to people’s lives.

We are expanding our home care support team in the Doncaster & surrounding areas including Hatfield and Thorne and are looking for caring, reliable and hard working individuals to promote independence, whilst actively encouraging and supporting with making informed decisions.

Due to the range of locations, it is essential you hold a UK driving licence & have access to your own vehicle.

The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

Pay & Hours

Rate of pay: £12.56 per hour

Minimum 10 hours a week, but up-to 40 hours per week available.

The Role

As a Home Care Worker, you would deliver high quality care, visiting service users in their own homes. You would be responsible for ensuring they remain independent for as long as possible. This would involve preparing meals, personal care, assisting with medications, shopping - ensuring all their needs are met that are outlined in their own personal care plan. No two care plans are the same, each Service User is an individual and care plans written according to their needs. HICA is a ‘Not for Profit’ organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties both within residential and nursing homes and within the community.
