Document Controller – Ilford

Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Ilford
Regions: Essex, London

Chief property construction company who operate globally across a range of sectors including residential, health care, education and facility management schemes.

Currently looking for a motivated professional to join the team based in Ilford as Document Controller. Looking for a person who is able to communicate well, liaise with and advise other departments.

The company have a strong network and financial strength with technical expertise to undertake some of the most significant contracts and holds a high portfolio of work across the UK.

Attributes
  • Significant document control experience within main contractor background
  • Meticulous organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and own document control process for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to work under own initiative and maintain attention to detail at all times
  • Highly professional, well presented, reliable, punctual and responsible
  • IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro software packages as a minimum
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Assist in the preparation of project reports including typing dictated or hand written notes and final formatting, printing and binding for presentation
Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain standard shared computer folders and files.
  • Be responsible for coordinating document changes and provide admin support to all personnel associated with projects.
  • Previous experience as a Document Controller and Administrator
  • Update contract documents as required including collating, filing and distribution of documents relating to Variation Orders
  • Set up and maintain all project related filing ensuing it is up-to-date at all times
