Job summary

Elvet Recruitment is hiring an experienced Document Controller to support a major civil engineering data centre project in Blyth, North East England. The role focuses on ensuring all project documentation is accurately managed, controlled and distributed throughout the lifecycle on a 12-month contract.

You will work within a fast-paced construction environment, coordinating with site teams, subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
• Experience using ACC and/or Aconex.
• Strong revision management and documentation procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation using ACC and Aconex.
• Upload, issue, distribute and archive drawings, maintaining revision control.
• Coordinate documentation between site teams, subcontractors, consultants and client.
• Ensure documentation complies with project procedures and standards.
• Monitor documentation flows and maintain accurate registers.
• Assist with project handover documentation and close-out.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy across project information.
