Job summary

Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to join the project delivery team on a major hyperscale Data Centre development. You will own document control and information management across the project lifecycle, collaborating with design, construction, engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, subcontractors and client representatives.

Strong Data Centre or mission-critical construction experience and hands-on ACC and Aconex expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Document Control/Information Management in large-scale construction.
• Experience on Data Centre projects.
• Senior/Lead Document Controller level experience.
• Strong hands-on with ACC and Aconex essential.
• Experience with BIM 360, Procore, Asite or similar platforms beneficial.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 information management principles advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Document Control function across the Data Centre project.
• Manage project documentation throughout design, construction, commissioning, handover and close-out.
• Administer and maintain project information within ACC and Aconex.
• Establish and maintain document control procedures, workflows, registers, permissions and distributions.
• Ensure drawings, submissions, specs, RFIs, method statements and records are controlled and distributed.
• Manage document numbering, revision control, transmittals, approvals and review workflows.
• Coordinate documentation across Electrical, Mechanical, CSA, QA/QC and Commissioning disciplines.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, accurate submissions.
• Monitor outstanding documentation and follow up to prevent delays.
• Maintain auditable project records per requirements.
• Support commissioning docs, O&M manuals, test records, turnover packages and handover.
• Provide training to teams on ACC, Aconex and control procedures.
• Mentor junior Document Controllers where required.
• Produce regular reporting on document status and performance.
