Job summary

Elvet Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK infrastructure and construction contractor to recruit a Document Controller in the Tyne & Wear area. The role focuses on controlling, registering and distributing project documentation across a major water infrastructure programme in the North East.

The ideal candidate will manage document lifecycles, operate EDRM systems, and liaise with project teams and external stakeholders in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Document Control, Information Management or Project Administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage receipt, processing, filing, distribution and archiving of project documentation.
• Maintain document registers and ensure easy retrieval of documents.
• Manage document revisions and ensure latest versions are used.
• Support full document lifecycle from creation to archiving.
• Administer electronic document management systems and access controls.
• Work with ProjectWise, SharePoint and Forma (ACC) platforms.
• Coordinate information flow between project managers, engineers and clients.
