A leading engineering company in the UK is seeking a Distribution Requirements Planner to coordinate production workflow and manage inventory across multiple sites. The successful candidate will utilize their experience in production planning and MRP/ERP systems to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient operations. As a Distribution Requirements Planner, you will have responsibility to coordinate production workflow through all areas of the business ensuring minimum delay.
To apply we ask that you are a technically minded Planner with the ability to optimise flow across our multisite manufacturing network$ûbalancing demand, capacity and inventory so the right parts are in the right place at the right time. You'll bring 3-7 years experience in production, supply or materials planning, with handson MRP/ERP and DRP expertise, strong transaction discipline and parameter management.
You’ll have a solid grasp of BOMs, routings, capacity planning (CRP/RCCP) and finite scheduling, plus proven planning experience of intersite transfers, network inventory and logistics constraints. Comfortable with complex part structures and change control, you’re highly proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel. Ideally, you’ll have worked with systems such as SAP (ECC/S4), Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, IFS or Infor.
Analytically strong and commercially aware, you will communicate clearly at all levels, stay organised under deadlines and show high attention to detail. A proactive team player with an enthusiastic, forwardthinking approach, you plan ahead and help drive continuous improvement.
This position will be on a full time, permanent basis, and working day shift hours of 37 hours per week.
