Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Distribution in Manchester. Join a hybrid team delivering MV/LV design, SCADA interfaces, and protection/controls across energy projects in a multinational environment.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with DNO standards, and contribute to design governance and project delivery within a dynamic energy sector.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of British and DNO design standards.
• Experience writing clear and concise documentation.
• Ability to work with internal and external parties in a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Medium Voltage and Low Voltage design work to DNO standards.
• Produce interface designs for SCADA systems and related metering.
• Assist with protection and control design and setting coordination.
• Coordinate with suppliers and clients across projects.
