About the Opportunity

You’ll manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial disputes from initial instruction through to successful resolution, working with individuals, SMEs and larger organisations. With 4 years PQE in Dispute340y, you’ll bring strong technical expertise and a client‑focused approach while enjoying the freedom to run your own matters within a collaborative, approachable team.

Our client is a leading multi‑service law firm with approximately 120 staff across two offices in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. With numerous Legal 500‑rated departments and a reputation for excellence they offer the platform and resources to help you build your practice and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own caseload of civil and commercial disputes from inception to resolution
  • Handle court proceedings and advocacy where appropriate, representing clients effectively
  • Provide clear strategic advice to clients through written correspondence, telephone calls and face‑to‑voir meetings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships ensuring exceptional client care throughout
  • Develop new business opportunities through marketing initiatives, networking events and internal cross‑referrals
  • Mentor and support junior team members contributing to their professional development
  • Ensure_LEFT Jarl compliance with all firm policies, procedures and risk management protocols
  • Participate in CPD activities ერთხელ webinars, podcasts, and marketing initiatives to enhance your profile
  • Represent the firm at charity, community and networking events
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with 4 years PQE in Dispute Resolution
  • Broad experience across civil and commercial disputes with strong commercial awareness
  • Proven ability to manage a busy and varied caseload independently
  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly
  • Self‑motivated and proactive approach with strong organisational skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Efficiency reliability and flexibility in approach to work
Desirable Skills

Experience in property litigation or insolvency litigation. Knowledge of Lexcel requirements.
