Overview

The Hair, Beauty & Barbering Department at Loughborough College are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced technician to join the curriculum team working on a sessional basis. The Technician will work closely with the Curriculum Manager and lecturing team to ensure high standards of stock efficiency are implemented and effectively maintained throughout the academic year. The aim of this role is to ensure that the necessary equipment is stocked and readily available, safe and accessible to learners and staff through coordinating resources and managing health and safety processes.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure equipment is stocked, safe, accessible and available to learners and staff.
  • Coordinate resources and manage health and safety processes in line with college policies.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Hairdressing, Barbering or Beauty Therapy.
  • Hold a relevant qualification.
  • This post may include working early evenings.
