Job summary

Premier Research is seeking an Associate Director, Process Excellence and Performance Lead to join our Business Operations team. You will drive SO&E methodologies, enable continuous improvement, and develop KPI frameworks with Analytics to improve delivery across studies.

You will coach delivery teams, align training with standards, and partner with Quality and Units to ensure governance and risk controls. Travel up to 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution.
• 10+ years in process excellence/SOE methods, capability development, or organizational change.
• Experience in clinical research or CRO environments with global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; able to translate insights into action.
• Experience establishing KPI frameworks and dashboards with data analytics partners.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and evolution of SO&E methodologies and toolsets.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce variation, cycle time and rework.
• Oversees onboarding pathways and capability models for PAs/Sr PAs/PSs/Sr PSs.
• Establishes governance, mentoring structures and communities of practice.
• Develops KPI frameworks and performance metrics with analytics teams.
• Partner with Quality and Business Units to integrate risk and audit readiness.
• Provides coaching on process excellence and change methodologies.
• Balances delivery readiness with capability development; travel up to 5%.
