Job summary

Premier Research seeks an Associate Director, Process Excellence and Performance Lead to join our Business Operations team. You will drive the design, standardization, and ongoing evolution of SO&E methodologies, KPIs, and performance dashboards to enable timely, data-driven decisions across study programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of experience in process excellence/SO&E methods, capability development, or organizational change.
• Experience in clinical research or CRO environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in global settings.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, or performance.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and evolution of SO&E methodologies, procedures, templates, and toolsets.
• Drives continuous improvement by identifying pain points, root cause analyses, and scaling improvements.
• Oversees onboarding pathways and capability models for PAs/Sr PAs/PSs/Sr PSs with BU partnerships.
• Establishes professional standards, mentoring structures, and communities of practice.
• Develops governance, adoption metrics, and leadership enablement for change maturity.
• Ensures alignment between training content, practices, and SO&E standards.
• Develops and governs KPI frameworks with analytics partnerships to ensure meaningful measures.
• Partners with Quality and Business Units to integrate risk management and audit readiness.
• Provides coaching on process excellence, performance management, and change methodologies.
• Collaborates to strengthen delivery predictability and integrated ways of working.
• Works with Analytics to define questions, measures, and reporting requirements; oversees dashboard governance.
