Job summary

pladis is seeking a Head of Process Excellence to lead the development and deployment of best-in-class process management across R&D and manufacturing in the UK&I. You will drive continuous improvement, lean initiatives, waste reduction and data-driven capability building.

You will embed SPC and DOE leadership to improve process capability, collaborate with engineering and operations, and report outcomes to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Food Science or Manufacturing.
• Significant experience in process improvement or operations leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, SPC, process capability and RCA.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI development and insight action.
• Experience supporting new machinery or capital investments from a process excellence view.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a process excellence strategy aligned to UK&I priorities.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma projects to improve quality, cost, capacity and waste.
• Embed SPC and performance routines to reduce variation and improve decisions.
• Lead DOE to optimise machinery settings and new tech integration.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Procurement and R&D to deliver initiatives.
• Build training programs to strengthen Lean Six Sigma and debug capabilities.
• Define KPIs, track benefits and report progress to senior stakeholders.
