Job summary

System C is seeking a Head of Implementation Delivery to lead the implementation function and shape customer delivery. The role sits within Technical Consulting and involves defining strategy, building capability, and ensuring delivery excellence across complex programmes.

You will operate at strategic and operational levels, provide leadership through growth and change, and work with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes and strong customer results.

Responsibilities

• Defining and delivering a long-term implementation strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs
• Leading a large, multidisciplinary implementation organisation
• Owning governance, methodologies, quality assurance, controls and continuous improvement
• Building the capability, identity and professional maturity of the Implementation function
• Creating direction and accountability in complex or ambiguous situations
• Driving delivery innovation, automation, tooling and management information improvements
• Leading workforce planning, succession planning, coaching, recruitment and organisational development
• Managing resource planning and capacity to meet portfolio demand
• Providing senior oversight of strategic and high‑risk customer implementations
• Supporting business planning, commercial decisions, bids and proposals
• Driving service improvement and cross‑functional transformation initiatives
• Influencing senior stakeholders and strengthening collaboration across the wider organisation
