Job summary

Click Recruitment is seeking a Head of Delivery to lead the delivery function in a professional services organisation. The role reports to the COO and is accountable for profitable project delivery, customer satisfaction, quality management, and continuous improvement.

The position involves leading a team of senior consultants, overseeing resourcing, revenue and margin performance, and governance across a portfolio of projects. A mix of strategic and hands‑on delivery is required.

Qualifications

• Must have consultancy experience within a professional services environment.
• Pre-sales experience in testing, QA, or consultancy with solution shaping and estimation.
• 7+ years leading IT project delivery in consulting or PS organisations.
• 5+ years managing consulting or delivery teams.
• Strong delivery of projects and portfolio management with QA/testing focus.
• Deep understanding of project lifecycles, testing methodologies, and risk management.
• Experience delivering Test Process Improvement services.
• Track record delivering profitable, complex projects with enterprise platforms.
• P&L ownership or responsibility for profitability of engagements.
• Commercial acumen including pricing, forecasting, and resource planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery function within a professional services organisation with accountability for profitable project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee a team of senior consultants, resourcing, revenue and margin performance, escalations, and delivery governance across a portfolio.
• Drive delivery methodologies, systems, and processes to improve consistency, quality, forecasting and efficiency.
• Support project estimation, customer engagement, and transition of opportunities into delivery.
• Own delivery standards, ISO processes, project documentation, PSA/tools, and development of new consulting and delivery services.
• Balance client-facing responsibilities with hands‑on project delivery to ensure outcomes.
