The role of Director of Financial Performance Management is a leadership role to oversee multiple finance sub-teams—Financial Performance, Planning & Control, Systems Transformation, and Management Accounting—to deliver strategic and operational financial services across the Group. Key responsibilities include:
You will be qualified to degree level or hold a professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA). You will also have demonstrable equivalent experience and a good ongoing record of continuing professional development.
You will have strong experience in financial management, business partnering, and sustainability planning. Your background includes budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial modelling, cost allocation, and profitability reporting. You’re skilled in costing for new products and projects, and in implementing new financial processes within large, complex global organisations.
You will have the ability to lead initiatives that balance growth with long-term financial and environmental sustainability in a large, complex global organisation. Your experience includes driving change and introducing innovative approaches to financial and sustainability management.
Experience of working within the higher education sector and understanding regulatory frameworks and challenges would be advantageous.
