Job Description
The Director of the Investment Marketing team leads a team of marketing individuals in building and delivering compelling marketing plans across the UK and Europe covering alternatives, fixed income and equities, targeting intermediary and institutional investors in multiple countries in the region.
The role requires familiarity with building and delivering successful marketing strategies in close collaboration with distribution teams and aligned to business growth ambitions.
Aligning to the business and marketing strategies and objectives, work with distribution to develop and execute regional marketing plans and campaigns for intermediary and institutional channels, across all European major markets.
Working in collaboration with the wider team, deliver compelling marketing activity that directly supports the business growth ambitions. Activity could include building journeys, campaigns, improving process and introducing new practises including areas such as AI.
Work with the content and product marketing teams to develop plans and deliver appropriate thought leadership and content for audiences covering all areas of the funnel and ensure accurate translations.
Across all activity, partner with digital marketing to take a digital first approach to activity, and with a data orientated approach to measuring effectiveness. This includes leveraging all digital channels, defining KPIs, monitoring and improving campaign performance, delivering reports to stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement and providing regular insights to the broader team and stakeholders, including feeding into regular reporting.
Work with brand, sponsorship and events teams to plan and execute marketing strategy around key events and brand activity to maximise brand impact and amplify lead generation.
Lead and manage key stakeholder relationships internally including distribution teams, investment teams, wider business partners, and third‑party media and any agencies.
Lead on regional plans and strategy including defining approach, budget planning, scheduling and delivery, working closely with input and in collaboration with distribution teams.
