Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Director - HV Cable System Design to lead design delivery for high‑voltage cable systems up to 400 kV across UK and Continental Europe. You will drive tendering through to project handover, coordinating with clients and subcontractors and providing technical leadership on all HV/EHV aspects.

The role requires extensive experience in HV/EHV cable design, CYMCAP proficiency, and a degree in Electrical Power Engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in cable design for HV/EHV systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design delivery for Cable System Projects to 400 kV from tender to handover.
• Provide technical support on HV cable system engineering and design.
• Prepare specifications, route and tender documents; ensure interface with other functions.
