As a Digital Merchandising Executive for First Choice, you will be responsible for executing a range of onsite merchandising campaigns and offers that resonate with customers and align with our commercial requirements. You will be working in a fast paced, commercial environment making decisions to improve website trading performance whilst ensuring the user experience is inspirational, engaging and relevant. The Digital Merchandising Executive is a creative thinker who will be able to bring new and exciting ideas to the team. Analytical and naturally inquisitive, you have the ability to interpret trading and test results data, identify trends and recommend actionable change.

ABOUT THE JOB
  • Ownership of on-site merchandising and execution of all trading activities aligned with the promotional calendar.
  • Working closely with the Content, User Experience and Design to provide an excellent & inspiring user experience, ensuring that all paths are optimised accurately and identify opportunities to increase and support overall conversion.
  • Producing weekly and monthly reporting & analysis on site performance, in-depth product and collections performance and highlighting opportunities and underperformance along with actions to deliver improved results.
  • Create personalised experiences for our customers, using tools to recognise behaviour and help support them in making it easy and enjoyable to find the right holiday.
  • Support Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives through the bi-weekly working groups.
  • Ensure we have a best-in-class website that evolves with our customers and identify issues and snags - reporting anything to the dev team to fix.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of the life-cycle of products, including promotional spaces, discounting, categorisation, ranking, upsell / cross sell.
  • Work closely with the digital marketing teams to ensure that traffic is optimised for all E-Commerce channels including email, paid search and affiliates.
  • Monitor the market to fully understand any trends and opportunities to optimise product listings, collections and new ways to increase traffic and conversion.
  • Support the Senior Digital Merchandising Manager in identifying opportunities to improve the website for our customers, both short and long term.
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience in working in a merchandising role in an online environment.
  • Highly analytical with a confident ability to turn data into opportunities for increasing revenue using web analytics tools to improve key performance metrics such as conversion, bounce rate, ASP and page views. Experience with GA or Adobe Analytics is preferred.
  • A strong desire to innovate, test and learn will be essential.
  • You will be working in a fast-paced environment with ever changing priorities, so being able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines is something you thrive on.
  • Creative thinker who is customer obsessed.
  • Self-motivated and an enthusiastic team player.
