Project Slingshot is a bold global initiative launching in 2026 with the mission to end factory farming. We expose the lies, cruelty, and power of Big Ag through disruptive campaigns that capture public attention and build momentum for change. We are fast-moving, impact-driven, and strive to change the conversation in our sector.

Location: Remote (UK/USA)

Reports to: Digital & Email Marketing Director (UK)

Start Date: November TBD

The Role

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll drive Project Slingshot’s digital presence. Reporting to the Digital & Email Marketing Director, you’ll ensure our channels are fresh, engaging, and relentless in driving conversation and action. This is a hands-on role: you’ll oversee content production, manage schedules, nurture our online community, and stay at the cutting edge of digital trends. You’ll also build relationships with influencers and supporters who can amplify our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Production & Scheduling
    • Oversee day-to-day content production (social posts, reels, graphics, short videos, etc.) across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other key platforms.
    • Manage publishing schedules to ensure consistent and timely output.
    • Collaborate with creative and campaign teams to ensure content is on-message, disruptive, and engaging.
  • Community Management
    • Monitor and engage with our online community across platforms.
    • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and questions in line with Slingshot’s bold voice.
    • Proactively build and nurture a strong, active online supporter base.
  • Trends & Growth
    • Stay on top of emerging features and trends on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, with an eye for creative adoption.
    • Explore new platforms (X, Threads, SnapChat, Reddit, Substack) to identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
    • Test and experiment with new methods to capture leads and turn attention into action.
  • Influencer Relationships
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with influencers, creators, and advocates aligned with our mission.
    • Manage outreach and collaborations to amplify Slingshot’s campaigns.
  • Analytics & Reporting
    • Monitor social media analytics and report on performance.
    • Use insights to optimize content and engagement strategies.
    • Share learnings and recommendations with the Digital & Email Marketing Director.
Qualifications & Attributes
  • Experience in digital marketing, social media management, or community engagement.
  • Strong hands-on experience with TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook; familiarity with X, Threads, Snapchat, Reddit, and Substack is a plus.
  • Skilled in content production and scheduling tools (e.g., Agorapulse, Sprout, Meta Business Suite).
  • Solid understanding of social media analytics and how to use insights to evolve strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting and storytelling abilities; confident communicator.
  • Experience building partnerships with influencers and creators.
  • Trend-savvy and proactive, comfortable in a bold, disruptive environment.
  • Experience in farmed animal advocacy or nonprofit campaigning is highly desirable.
  • Passionate about Slingshot’s mission and determined to help end factory farming.
