Digital Learning & Innovation Partner

Do you pride yourself on being the SME in learning tech? Are you a digital learning professional driven by delivering the best end‑user experience, always looking for new technologies and asking the ever‑present questions: "Can we do this better? What is the new tech I need to make it happen?" We are recruiting a Digital Learning & Innovation Partner to join a leader in their market. The role reports to the Head of L&D and is part of the corporate L&D function.

Location

Hybrid (typically 2 days per week in Watford)

Responsibilities
  • Own all learning technology initiatives, including LMS development and implementation.
  • Lead the design and development of complementary technologies such as AI, VR, and mobile apps.
  • Consult with stakeholders, including technical roles, to develop new learning programmes and interventions.
  • Support the development of certified programmes, regulatory‑led training, and ongoing soft skills programmes.
  • Utilise authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, and other coding platforms.
  • Play a key role in systems and process development related to performance management, appraisals, and talent management.
  • Analyse learning data and leverage insights to drive future learning planning.
Qualifications
  • Passion for innovation with an appetite to develop, improve, and own the direction of digital learning.
  • Creative thinker who is also a strong collaborator and comfortable in stakeholder‑facing roles.
  • Experience delivering digital learning solutions across blended programmes, including automation and immersive experiences (VR/AR).
  • Advanced proficiency with authoring tools and comfortable managing an LMS.
  • Familiarity with standards such as SCORM and best practices for digital accessibility.
  • Experience in coding, Power BI, and instructional design principles is an advantage.
