Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and repairing generator sets (FG Wilson, Cummins or similar) essential.
• Prior field service experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on diesel generators across customer-owned and rental fleets.
• Diagnose faults and perform effective repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Conduct site surveys to determine service needs.
• Participate in an on-call rota to provide support outside standard working hours.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies and maintain clean work environments.
• Comply with ISO standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication abilities

Education

Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Diesel Fitting, or Plant Maintenance

Completion of an approved Mechanical/Electrical Engineering apprenticeship
