Qualifications

• Registered Midwife/Nurse with evidence of continuing professional development.
• Non-Medical prescriber with knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes.
• Experience in high-risk pregnancies and multi-agency working.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist midwifery or nursing care for women with diabetes in pregnancy.
• Lead the diabetes-in-pregnancy service and develop individual treatment plans.
• Conduct clinical audits and contribute to local policies for diabetes management.
