Job summary

A leading consultancy is seeking a Software Engineer to work on operational projects within the national security domain in London. The role requires enhanced DV clearance for high-side IT access and involves delivering DevOps capabilities, developing new systems, and supporting critical environments. Candidates should have strong knowledge in Java and Linux, as well as DevOps principles. This position necessitates client interaction and participation in a 24/7 on-call rota. The daily rate is up to £800, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver DevOps development and support capabilities as part of an agile delivery team.
• Participate in the development of new systems, transitioning them into ongoing support and enhancement.
• Support the transition of externally developed systems into internal ownership for maintenance and improvement.
• Contribute to second and third line support for a portfolio of client systems.
• Take part in a 24/7 on-call rota supporting critical national systems.
