Empowering Learning are recruiting a dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for a busy secondary school in East London. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership, excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation, and a passion for protecting vulnerable students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the school's Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safeguarding policies and procedures
  • Lead staff training on safeguarding and child protection
  • Liaise with parents, social services, and external agencies to protect students
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor safeguarding concerns
  • Support students with SEN, SEMH, and other additional needs
