Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a mainstream secondary school in Leeds to appoint a Design Technology Teacher for day-to-day or long-term roles. You will teach across KS3/KS4, support GCSE studies, and have the option to assist A Level students. Immediate start and a PAYE arrangement are offered.

The role requires QTS with a DT specialism, strong classroom management, and excellent communication. Competitive daily rates apply, with ongoing CPD support available.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Design Technology specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Design Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting students with GCSE preparation
• A Level teaching or support experience is desirable
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills and an adaptable approach

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Leeds, who are looking to appoint a Design Technology Teacher. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher who can engage students through practical and theory-based learning while promoting high standards within the classroom.

The school is looking to take on a Design Technology Teacher for day-to-day or long-term work, with an Immediate Start. The successful Design Technology Teacher will teach across KS3 and KS4, supporting students with their GCSE studies, with experience supporting A Level students also highly desirable.

The successful Design Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Design Technology specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching Design Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Experience supporting students with GCSE preparation
• A Level teaching or support experience is desirable
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication skills and an adaptable approach
