Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a qualified Design and Technology Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Stockport starting September. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, plan engaging lessons and uphold high expectations of behaviour and progress.

QTS with a D&T specialization is required, with ECTs welcome. Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills are essential to deliver the Design and Technology curriculum successfully.

Qualifications

• Qualified Design and Technology teacher with KS3/KS4 experience.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical D&T lessons.
• Strong classroom management and high expectations for progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach Design and Technology across KS3/KS4.

Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher
Location: Stockport
Start Date: September
Salary: £170 - £250 per day

Are you a qualified Design and Technology Teacher with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4?

Can you inspire students through engaging and practical Design and Technology lessons?

Do you have strong classroom management and a can-do attitude?

The school is looking to take on a Design and Technology Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will be teaching across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high expectations of behaviour and student progress.

The successful Design and Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)

• Experience teaching Design and Technology across KS3 and KS4

• Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum

• Excellent classroom management

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
