Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a large secondary school in Trafford, seeking a passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from October.

You'll teach KS3 and KS4, planning engaging lessons to develop students' practical skills, knowledge and confidence while maintaining excellent classroom management.

Qualifications

• QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs welcomed)
• Experience teaching Design and Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons
• Support students to develop practical skills and knowledge

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large secondary school based in Trafford. The school provides a busy and engaging learning environment and is looking for an enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher to join their team.

The school is looking to take on a Design and Technology Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from October. The successful Design and Technology Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while supporting students to develop their practical skills, subject knowledge and confidence.

The successful Design and Technology Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Design and Technology specialism (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)


• Experience teaching Design and Technology across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4


• Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum


• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
